Ten great men came together on
January 5, 1911 at Indiana University with a dream, and the reality of this
dream became Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. These great men, known as
achievers, were responsible for creating a bond of fraternity where the
likes of which have never been seen by any other Greek Letter Fraternity.
The Zeta Beta Chapter known as the The Zoo, was established
May 5, 1970. Since then, the chapter has been involved in a variety of service
projects with the community as well as the university. The chapter is also
nationally known for its reputation of inducting strong men of high moral
character into the bond. The bond of quality men of culture, patriotism,
and honor to rise to the occasion and inspire to service. They assist the
aims and purpose of colleges and universities plus they promote the spiritual,
social, intellectual, and moral welfare of their members.
