PVAMU Lone Star College-CyFair Joint Admissions ProgramPrairie View A&M University (PVAMU) and Lone Star College System (LSCS) have entered into a Joint Admissions Program Agreement (JA). Effective fall 2008, students interested in pursuing or completing a bachelor’s degree in business can take The JA Program Agreement between the two institutions is designed to ensure a seamless transition for LSC-CyFair students to PVAMU while maximizing the number of course transfer hours from the Degree seekers can essentially pursue their bachelor’s degree at the LSC-CyFair campus; however, they will still have access to the same full privileges PVAMU students enjoy including career placement assistance, free tutorials and access to the university library and computing resources. PVAMU faculty and advisors will be available at the LSC-CyFair campus regularly to provide general guidance and academic support. Students enrolled in the JA Program can declare a major in the bachelor’s programs offered under the Joint Admissions Agreement at PVAMU (Management, Finance and MIS) immediately after meeting the admission requirements. As part of the program, the PVAMU courses will be offered on the LSC-CyFair on weekends. PVAMU advisors will be available regularly on the LSC-CyFair campus.
