Accreditation

The College of Business at Prairie View A&M University is fully accredited by AACSB International—The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.  AACSB is the premier accrediting agency for bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs in business administration and accounting. 

Why is accreditation important? 

Accreditation by AACSB International represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools.  Business schools and colleges that commit to this voluntary process undergo meticulous internal review, evaluation and adjustment. Schools that earn accreditation must meet the AACSB standards that require highly qualified faculty, curricula that is responsive to the needs of business constituents and commit to making continuous improvements in keeping with the institution’s mission.
