NewsHour’s The Rundown blog features PVAMU students in the article, “One Texas School’s Long Walk of Political Engagement.” It highlights the 2008 voting march students conducted to the protest the closure of early voting sites in Waller County. The post also highlights the 1992 march in support of the “Prairie View 19,” students who were indicted for improperly voting.
