Lawrence McNeil Appointed Assistant Dean
Assistant Professor of Economics Lawrence McNeil, Ph.D. has taken on a leadership role in his appointment as assistant dean in the PVAMU College of Business.  Dr. McNeil will be addressing issues directly related to student recruitment and retention as well as professional development and other initiatives beginning spring 2010. 
 
 
COB Faculty Members Receive Notice of Publication 
Dr. Bell and Dr. Chong’s paper titled, A Caste and Class among the Relative Frequency of Faculty’s Publications: A Content Analysis of Refereed Business Journals has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Leadership, Accountability and Ethics (ISSN# 1913-8059). It will be published in volume 8(1), late spring 2010.
 
Dr. Opara’s paper, Statistical Analysis of VODSL Technology for the Efficiency of Listening Quality of 640K/640K has been accepted for publication in the Journal of International Technology and Information Management [JIMIT}, Volume 19, Issue 1, 2010.

 

PVAMU Offers Online MBA
The wait is over!  Beginning fall 2009, students may take MBA courses on one of the PVAMU campuses, online or using combination of both instruction delivery methods to complete their MBA degree requirements.  Online courses will be offered for students who need both MBA and Pre-MBA courses.  Space is limited, but there is still time to apply and register.
