
The Panther Newspaper is the official student newspaper of Prairie View A&M University, a historically black university (HBCU). Serving over 3,500 campus residence; 9,000 undergraduate and graduate students; 1,400 faculty and staff members; and over 10,000 additional online readers, The Panther Newspaper is constantly in production releasing the latest in local, state, and national news weekly.
Within the past decade, The Panther Newspaper has collected numerous awards and accolades for various aspects of their print production and media. Most recently, the publication was named Best Newspaper (Non-regular production) at the 14th Annual Historically Black College and University Student News Media Conference held in Norfolk, VA.
www.pvpanther.com is the online website for all of your news and campus information updates. The Panther Newspaper will soon host online advertising and classifieds geared towards students and neighboring vendors. Check the site weekly for stories, new, and ads.
Advertising with The Panther Newspaper is now simple and easy. You can select and pay for your ads online via the Panther Marketplace. Submission of your artwork can be done via email, panther@pvamu.edu. Ads must be submitted Monday by 5:00pm (central) to run in that same week. Below is the production schedule for Fall 2012 and Spring 2013:
