The purpose of this memorandum is to inform the University community of the recent changes to the Financial Aid scholarship web page.
New Scholarship Policy
The Continuing Student Scholarship Program is currently being phased out. Instead of having an application process for scholarships, they will be automatically packaged for students that meet the criteria.
Easier Search for Scholarships
New URL
In order to assist students with finding other avenues for funding, the Scholarship web page has gone through a great deal ofchange and is available at http://www.pvamu.edu/scholarships.
Private Scholarships and Scholarship Alerts
Students can view private scholarships by clicking on the "Private Scholarships" option. As the Scholarship department receives notices from private donors about new scholarships, they are posted on the scholarship page. You may view them by selecting "Scholarship Alerts" on the scholarship web page.
More Scholarship Search Engines
If students would like to search for more private scholarships, they can do so via our scholarship search engine web page at http://www.pvamu.edu/pages/2148.asp.
