Besides, the Office of Financial Aid administers various programs providing financial assistance to qualified students. Internships and Cooperative Education
Opportunities for practical experience in the business world are available through co-op and/or internship programs. Eligibility for these structured work experiences requires a minimum grade point average of 2.50. Students avail coop and internship opportunities both in industry and government agencies, such as, EDS/GM, NASA, Accenture, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Texas Instruments, Intel, Dell, HP-Compaq, AMD, Nortel, Exxon-Mobile, Chevron, Schlumberger, US Army, Boeing, AT&T, SBC, etc. Interns are eventually hired by the same organizations as System Analyst, Programmer, Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, Support Engineer, Information Technology Specialist, Electrical Engineer, Design Engineer, Consultant, etc.
Our graduates are high in demand because they are equipped with hands-on experience on the latest instrumentation in the laboratory to test the knowledge they learn in the classrooms. A recent survey indicates that the above companies are highly pleased on the academic preparedness and performance of our graduates.
