We are located on the second floor of the New Science Building. The department is a ACS Accredited program that has state-of the-art instrumentation for teaching and research in chemistry and allied field, multimedia-equipped classrooms, modern laboratories for teaching and research. Our faculty members have specializations in analytical, environmental, inorganic, organic, physical, and biochemistry . Most of our students continue in chemistry-related fields after graduation, often attending graduate schools in chemistry, biochemistry, medicine, or pursuing careers in industrial research or the biomedical sciences. We award B.Sc. in chemistry with degree options in Biomedical sciences or Forensic sciences, in addition to the traditional chemistry option.
