Requesting Transcripts

A transcript is the record of an individual's work at the University. Before an official transcript can be released, all admission requirements, fiscal and financial aid obligations to the University must be met. Students may use Panthertracks to find out if there are any transcript holds.

All requests for transcripts must be in writing by completing a Transcript Request Form (TRF) and signed by the student. No request can be taken over the telephone. The University will not release a transcript without the written consent of the student except when directed by a court ordered subpoena.

Transcripts are $5.00 each. Transcripts may be requested in person at the Office of the Registrar or written TRF request mailed along with the transcript fee to the following address:

Office of the Registrar
Prairie View A&M University
P. O. Box 3089
Prairie View, Texas 77446

Transcripts will be ready for pick‑up or mailed within 3‑5 weekdays from the date the request was received. During peak periods when grades and degrees are being posted, 10 weekdays should be allowed for processing requests.
