Since 2003, the College of Nursing has made great progress and received national recognition for utilizing Clinical Simulation Education as a teaching and learning strategy. The Human Patient Simulation Center is comprised of three laboratories that are located on the 9th. 10th and 11th floors and are expertly designed and equipped with High Fidelity Simulators, medical equipment, B-Line software technology, motion-sensitive cameras, and computers. There is a professional team consisting of a director, computer engineer, and faculty responsible for implementing simulated learning experience across the curriculum.
Simulations are valuable technical resources for integrating teaching and learning across program levels by coalescing different learning principles, substantive knowledge and specific practice skills.
