The Marvin D. and June Samuel Brailsford College of Arts and Sciences is the largest college at PVAMU. The 10 departments represent a range of academic disciplines and provide challenging intellectual experiences in advanced education, thus contributing to the general and professional education of our graduate students. The College offers vigorous programs and graduate degrees in five of its academic departments: Biology, Chemistry, English, Mathematics and Sociology. All graduate faculty hold terminal degrees in their respective fields of study and are actively engaged in research. Faculty members provide graduate students with rich educational experiences while offering students a unique opportunity to attain their educational goals.
The graduate programs offer small classes, real world application of concepts and theories and the flexibility to choose coursework that meets the personal and professional goals and interests of students.
