The Prairie View A&M University eHealth project’s primary focus is to increase awareness to utilization of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) on-line health and medical resources to the African American community in Houston. Community residents who utilize Families Under Urban and Social Attacks (FUUSA) services will be trained and educated on how to access health care information from trained undergraduate nursing students. The secondary focus is for students, faculty, staff and community residents to educate other individuals in Harris County and surrounding counties on accessing health care information that impacts their well being.
