Prairie View A&M University Summer Promise Program

Prairie View A&M University has a long history of providing access to residents of the State of Texas, regardless of the economic means of their families. The University is committed to ensuring that students can afford to choose PVAMU.

The Panther Promise is designed to reassure academically talented students from low- and middle-income families in Texas who may not feel that a university education is possible. The Panther Promise will expand upon an already robust aid program that awards more than $100 million dollars in student financial assistance.

Award Amounts

Undergraduate students that register for summer classes early and meet the scholarship criteria below may qualify for up to $1,500 in scholarship assistance that will assist in covering mandatory tuition and fees.
