Assistance with financial aid related questions is available via telephone at 877-782-6830. The service is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please be advised that during peak times, the wait time can be 30 minutes or more. Hence, you may wish to call before 8:00 am or after 6:00 pm. If your busy schedule does not allow time for phone calls, Financial Aid Agents may be reached by submitting a “trouble ticket” at www.pvamu.edu/pvlive. Once you are on the web page, click on “Submit A Ticket.” Please allow 24 to 48 hours for a response. If you have a more ‘pressing’ issue, you may chat on-line with a Financial Aid Agent at www.pvamu.edu/pvlive. Please be sure to click-on “Live Chat” to enter the chat room and ask your financial aid related questions. We are located on the third floor of the Willie A. Tempton Memorial Student Center on the Prairie View campus. Appointments are not necessary to see a counselor during office hours.
