Greetings to all alumni and friends who proudly embody the unwavering spirit of Prairie View A&M University. It is with great honor that I have the esteemed privilege of leading your Marching Storm band to another exciting season of performances. Our goal is to carry on and preserve the timeless traditions of the Storm while taking advantage of new opportunities to be even more innovative, creative and contemporary during our routines. I have a vision to increase the size of the band in an effort to achieve the look and sound that is necessary to compete musically on a national scale as well as to allow us to accommodate a wider variety of music and music genres. The fact that high school bands around the city and state have looked to our performance examples in setting their own, reiterates the fact that our program continues to be on the right track. Time and time again, our halftime concerts and appearances have served as a recruitment tool for the next generation of band recruits here at Prairie View. Students often tell stories that once they saw the Marching Storm live, they became Panthers for life.
