Auditions for The Black Foxes will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2012 for all applicants in the Leroy Moore Gymnasium. Students should arrive at 9:00am for Registration and warm-ups. Each applicant must bring a recent head shot and a full body photograph. The application fee will be $15.00 and will be due at the time of registration.
Each auditionee will present an individual dance routine, timed not over one and a half minutes. The dance routine must include a series of high kicks, and a straight split on both legs and any other dance strengths. Auditionee should be prepared to learn a jazz combination as well. Music should be up-tempo (i.e. Love On Top etc...) and each student must provide an original CD of the music. Judges will evaluate on Dance Technique, Physique, Interview and Overall Impression.
Persons selected at the Preliminaries will be required to attend a dance camp on May 19, 2012. Students may wear any dance attire, except long pants (judges must see the performer's legs), and no low cut cleavage tops. Any form of shoe is acceptable (The Black Foxes dance in character shoes).
