A. G. Hillard Scholarship Fund	Freshmen 3.0 minimum GPA
Accenture Endowed Scholarship	Full-time Sophomores or Juniors Engineering major with 3.0 minimum GPA or Business major with 3.2 minimum GPA Involvement in extracurricular activities and participation in an Co-op/Intern placement Must write an essay that discuss leadership experience
Anderson Bonner Endowment	Freshmen (and community college transfer from the White Rock area of Dallas County, Richardson ISD, Carrollton, Addison, Garland or Plano)
Barbara Jean Hoffman Foundation Scholarship	Full-time Nursing or Political Science majors 2.8 cumulative GPA Need based
Benjamin Van Dalia Wright Brown Scholarship	Juniors or Seniors (must be a member of Second Baptist Church in San Antonio, TX)
Bethlehem United Methodist	Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree. 2.5 semester GPA (must be a member of BUMC in Hempstead, TX)
Bobby L. Baldwin Scholarship	Music or Business majors 3.0 minimum GPA Must be from Dallas, TX (and the first child to attend college)
Brackenridge Scholarship	Need based (from San Antonio or Bexar County, TX)
Brentwood Baptist Church Scholarship	No Criteria

C. J. Davidson Scholarship	Awarded to students in the following categories singing cadets: College Station, TX, 4-H Youth Development and worthy students at PVAMU
Collins/Brown Scholarship	Freshmen 3.0 minimum GPA 15 semester hours each Fall and Spring semester
Degreed Up Scholarship	Must complete application available here Must write or type and print the following sentence 25 times, "I will not stop and I will not quit until I am degreed up!
Designated Tuition Set Aside	Undergraduate or Graduate students Need based
Detroit Edison Scholarship Fund	Engineering or Computer Science major
Distinguished Achievement Scholarship	Recent High School graduates (entering college for the first time) 3.0 minimum GPA SAT minimum 1500 / ACT minimum 21 and must complete verbal, writing and essay sections
Dolfrank Scholarship Award	U.S. Citizen, Undergraduates Any major 3.2 minimum GPA Submit 1 letter of recommendation and must write essay entitled: "How Will the Dolfrank Scholarship Benefit Me?" (if selected must send a thank you letter)
DOW-PVAMU Alumni Scholarship	Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors Engineering major 3.0 cumulative GPA
Doxie Darling Haws Mason Scholarship	Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors 2.5 cumulative GPA Need based
Dr. Charley Wootan Grant	U.S. Citizens or permanent U.S. Residents (of Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands or any of the U.S. territories and commonwealths) High School Seniors or Graduates (including GED recipients) who plan to enroll or are students who are already enrolled at least half-time Need based (eligible to receive Title IV funding)

Duke L. Martin Endowment	3.0 semester/cumulative GPA Need based
Eric Marin Scholarship Fund	Any major 3.0 minimum GPA Must have EFC of 0 and write a 500 word essay entitled: "How Will This Scholarship Benefit Me?" (if selected must send a thank you letter)
Ernestine B. Winslett Memorial Fund	Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors 2.5 minimum GPA (no grade below a C)
Extend the View; Shape Tomorrow Today Endowed Scholarship	Any major GPA major (University's merit standard) 3.0 minimum GPA 15 current semester hours
Exxon Mobile Emp., Ann., Fri. End	2 year transfer student 3.0 minimum GPA
First Class Alumni Endowed Scholarship	Full-time 3.0 minimum GPA Submit 3 letters of recommendation and have completed the financial aid application process Must submit an Official Transcript and short biography highlighting accomplishments and career aspirations, and personal views relative to attending PVAMU
Flossie M. Byrd Scholarship	Juniors Agriculture, Human Sciences, Sociology or Social Work majors. Must have completed all THEA (TASP) requirements 3.0 minumum GPA (no grade below a C) Show evidence of being a student leader or an active participant in community service (must have no record or inappropriate conduct resulting in disciplinary action)
Ford EEOC Endowment Scholarship	3.0 cumulative GPA Students who have immediately family members who are employed by Ford EEOC (a letter of verification of employment is required of each family member employed by FORD EEOC)
General Scholarship Fund	Full-time Good academic standing
George Foundation	2.7 minimum GPA Awarded to students that resides in Fort Bend County
George Meador Scholarship	Full-time Undergraduate Education major 2.5 GPA (High School 2.5 GPA) Involvement in any extracurricular activities Need based
Hattie, Jack & Cora Teel Garrett	Juniors Agriculture, Home Economics, Music or Accounting majors 3.0 semester/cumulative GPA
Helen V. Green Home Economics Scholarship	Human Sciences majors 3.0 minimum GPA

Johnny Tolbert Memorial Scholarship	Awarded to commuting student Must be providing personal care for children
L. E. Coleman Scholarship Fund	High School graduate (upper 10% of the class) Licensed cosmetologist
Lacy and Carolyn Fryer Scholarship Fund	Freshmen or Sophomores Agriculture majors or Education majors 2.5 semester GPA (High School 2.75 GPA) SAT minimum 800 / ACT minimum 18 Need based Must be a community service participant
Leon "Beak" Richardson Memorial Bridge Builder Scholarship	U.S. Citizen Freshmen Education majors (High School 3.0 GPA) 12 current semester hours Need based Must be a graduate of Jack Yates High School in Houston, TX (and the first child to attend college)
Leotha Polk Endowment	3.0 semester/cumulative GPA
Los Angeles Alumni Chapter	2.5 GPA (Good academic standing) No criminal record
Lucina E. Thompson Memorial Scholarship	U.S. Citizen Freshmen Need based Must have a FAFSA on file
Marvin D. & June E. Brailsford Scholarship	Biology or Music majors 2.5 semester/cumulative GPA

Milton C. Sanders Scholarship	High School 2.5 GPA Must be involved in football or baseball Need based
Minne Stevens Piper Foundation Fund	U.S. Citizen or permanent U.S. Resident (Texas resident) Full-time Juniors, Seniors, Graduate/Professional students Must complete loan application available at www.mspf.org
Nathelyne Kennedy Scholarship	Full-time Architecture or Engineer majors 3.0 cumulative GPA Must complete application available here
NDDC Endowment Scholarship Fund	Freshmen (top 27% of High School graduating class) 3.0 minimum GPA Need based SAT minimum 1010 / ACT minimum 21 Must be from Dallas, Denton, Collin or Rockwell County of Texas Transfer Students: 3.0 cumulative GPA and no less than a 2.75 GPA within the last two semesters

Political Science Scholarship Fund	Must be a legal resident of the state of Missouri.
Presidential Scholarship	Recent High School graduates (entering college for the first time) 3.25 minimum GPA SAT minimum 1650 / ACT minimum 24 and must complete verbal, writing and essay sections
PVAMU-Houston Alumni Scholarship	2.5 minimum GPA Submit an Official Transcript Submit 2 letters of recommendation Must write a 200 word essay entitled: " Why I Should Be Selected as the Recipient?"
Randall's Memorial Scholarship Fund	Full-time 2.5 minimum GPA (Good academic standing)
Raymond & Thelma Holt Family	Open to in state and out of state students Full-time students 2.5 minimum GPA Need based.
Rebecca E. Wright Scholarship	Must be a Texas resident Nursing or Education majors 3.0 cumulative GPA Must have at least 60 hours Involvement in extracurricular activities
Regents Merit Scholarship	Recent High School graduates (entering college for the first time) 3.5 minimum GPA SAT minimum 1760 / ACT minimum 26 and must complete verbal, writing and essay sections
Robert Woodson Chapter Colonial Dames XVII Century	U.S. Citizen (must be a Montgomery County, Texas resident) Juniors or Seniors 3.0 minimum GPA 30 minimum credit hours
Silsbee Alumni Scholarship Endowment	3.0 minumum GPA
Sprint Foundation Scholarship Fund	Full-time Juniors or Seniors Electrical Engineering majors 3.0 cumulative GPA Demonstrate leadership abilities through participation in community service and shows interested in pursuing a career in the telecommunications industry. Submit a current Official Transcript and resume

T. K. Lawless Endowment	3.0 cumulative GPA
Texas Armed Services Scholarship Program	Freshmen (current member and in good standing of the ROTC) Meet all pre-screening requirements of the Texas Army or Air Force National Guard. Enter into a written agreement with the Coordinating Board agreeing to complete 4 years ROTC training, graduate no later than 5 years after the date of registration and provide the Coordinating Board with verification of a 4 year commitment to the Texas Army or Air Force and a contract to serve as a mission officer in any branch in the armed service
Texas Be-On-Time Loan	Must be a Texas resident Full-time Undergraduate Must be entitled to pay resident tuition rates as a dependent child of a member of the U.S. Armed Forces Must be a High School graduate of the class of 2003 or later (must be a school operated by the U.S. Department of Defense or under the recommended High School program or have earned an Associate's degree from an eligible institution no earlier than May 1, 2005) Not eligible if a Bachelor's degree has been earned
Texas Quality Enhancement Scholarship	Undergraduate students Education majors (must pursue a teaching certificate and be willing to teach in a "high need" area; e.g., school in which 50% or more of the enrolled students are eligible for reduce lunch)

Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship	U.S. Citizen Juniors 3.2 cumulative GPA Must complete application available here
Thurgood Marshall Scholarship Fund	Merit based Need based
Tom Joyner Foundation	Full-time Undergraduate 2.5 minimum GPA Need based
Top Ten Percent Scholarship	Must be a Texas resident. (top 10% of class) Graduated from an accredited High School (completed recommended curriculum) Need based
Transfer Scholarships	Full-time 12 current semester hours Must submit a completed FAFSA. (International students must compete the TASFA) Submit Official Transcripts from previously attended accredited Community College/University. Must have 24 transferable credit hours for consideration. (students that have earned more than 90 hours transferable hours are ineligible)
United Ministers Scholarship	Must be a Texas resident Undergraduate (must have completed one academic year at PVAMU) 2.5 cumulative GPA (Good academic standing) 12 current semester hours No disciplinary record on file Does not allow a refund
Van Duke and Lucille S. Wright Endowment	Juniors 3.0 minimum GPA Must be a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church in San Antonio, TX
