| PVAMU will not provide any Event Tents in the Tailgate Area. All Event Tents must be rented from vendors or provided by your group. Small pop-up style tents and canopies are allowed in the Tailgate Area if they are set-up adjacent to your car, truck, or RV at no additional charge to entrance fee. | |

PVAMU is pleased to announce for the first year we will be allowing Event Tents. Due to the limited space available in the Tailgate Area NO event tents larger than 800 square foot will be permitted. All tents must be set-up on Wednesday October the 17th between the hours of 9:00am and 7:00 pm. There will be NO OVERNIGHT STAYS on Wednesday night and we ask that you leave nothing but your tent on the premises overnight Wednesday. Anyone assembling a tent must be out of the Tailgate Area by 7:00pm and the gates will be locked until 8:00am Thursday Morning when Tailgate reopens. Tailgate patrons having an Event Tent will need to complete the Tailgate Tent Contract. Parking Management must be in receipt of the completed Contract prior to the set-up of the tent. All event tents will be placed in the Tailgate Area by Parking Management or a representative of Auxiliary Enterprises. What is the square footage of my tent? Please note that all Advance Payments are non-refundable. The Marketplace advance payment option will close at 5:00pm on Wednesday October 17th 2012. If you prefer to pay cash or credit card in person the Cashiers Office located in the W.R. Banks Bldg. from 9:00am-3:00pm Monday thru Friday. If you arrive on Thursday October 17th and have not paid in advance only cash (no personal checks or credit cards) will be accepted at the West Tailgate Entrance by Parking Management. If you have purchased your Tailgate Area Parking Pass in advance there will be an envelope waiting for you with your permit(s) inside. Just give your name to the attendant at the gate to pick up your packet of information at the Tailgate Area entrance. Prairie View A&M University Parking Management reserves the right to refuse service. |
