The College of Juvenile Justice and Psychology offers graduate courses leading to a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Clinical Adolescent Psychology and a Master of Science Degree in Juvenile Forensic Psychology. The educational and training philosophy of the department emphasizes the scientist/practitioner model at the doctoral and masters level. Accordingly, the faculty has designed coursework, clinical practical, externship, thesis/dissertation, and other educational experiences to give students broad exposure to theoretical models, clinical skills, assessment techniques, and professional roles to prepare them for future practice in psychology.
