Twenty-four semester credit hours are required, even when the minor selected
requires less. The difference will be made up with unrestricted electives.
For minors that require more than 24 credit hours, the student is responsible
for ensuring that all of the requirements are met. Students are advised to select
minors in fields that are supportive of the criminal justice profession such as
business, economics, sociology, political science or foreign language.
If the minor requires less than 24 credit hours the difference should be made
up in unrestricted electives.
