Pre-Nursing Major (Lower Division)

The Office of Pre-Nursing Advising coordinates a range of activities that support the academic counseling process. In addition to providing counseling services and administering specific programs to strengthen counseling activities, this office will operate as a clearinghouse for academic information or referrals.

The Office of Pre-Nursing Advising provides individualized counseling to the following categories of students:

1. Freshmen and transfer who are undeclared

2. Students in declared majors who wish to explore other options

3. Students forced to seek an alternative major, following dismissal from their desired major

4. Non-degree students

5. Students entering the university in a provisional or high risk status
