It is a pleasure to introduce you to the College of Juvenile Justice and Psychology, the first and only one in the nation. Thank you for visiting our website. We hope that as you browse, you will consider applying to one of our seven degree programs. We have three undergraduate degrees, two masters degrees and two Ph.D. degree programs.
The juvenile justice programs are interdisciplinary, drawing from criminal justice, criminology, sociology and psychology. Scholarly activity may be further pursued through investigation into juvenile issues in the research unit of the Texas Juvenile Crime Prevention Center. The clinical adolescent doctoral degree programs are designed to produce scientist/practitioners. Our psychology training clinic gives students an opportunity to practice the skills and techniques learned in the classroom.
Our curricula ensure that you will acquire the research and knowledge skills for entry into your chosen career. Our faculty provide a teaching and learning climate for personal growth and development. Please feel free to visit each program on the web and contact us soon. We hope to hear from you.
