College transcripts must be requested by the applicant from each of the colleges the student has attended. Each institution will have its own transcript request process, which may usually be found on the registrar’s website. Official transcripts will only be accepted if sent directly by mail or electronic service (i.e. Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse, etc.) from the institution or delivered to us in an envelope sealed by the institution.

- Official College Transcripts
- Required 2.00 Cumulative GPA on a 4.00 scale from the last school attended
- 15 transferable college-level credits, cumulatively received from all schools attended

Courses accepted for transfer must be from a college or university accredited by one of the regional accredited agencies for higher education.
Military Credits
Eligible veteran students may have military credits automatically accepted if they meet the following requirements:
• Graduated from an accredited public or private high school
• Completed at least two years of active duty in the armed forces
• Honorably discharged from the US armed forces
If you meet the requirements please complete the Military Service Credit Request (HB 269). Please email the completed form to transferarticulation@pvamu.edu.
Military Service Credits will not be removed once awarded. Students should understand how military service credits affect:
• Your eligibility for a tuition rebate
• Texas B-On Time loan forgiveness
• Excess credit hours that may result in higher tuition and
• Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements
Students should consult their academic advisor for advice on the number of credits from military service that can be used in their degree program to avoid possible negative effects.
