Alumni Pinning Ceremony

The Alumni Pinning Ceremony celebrates the students’ full circle experience as they matriculate from student to graduate to alumni. When students arrive on campus as freshmen, they celebrate the beginning of their journey as Panthers with the Freshmen Pinning Ceremony at the end of Panther Camp Week.  The Alumni Pinning Ceremony celebrates the completion of graduates’ journeys. It recognizes Prairie View A&M University students as they reach this milestone in their lives—from student to graduate to alumni. It is designed to establish and create a strong connection with our distinguished institution of higher learning. During the ceremony, prospective graduates hear from remarkable alumni who were once in their shoes and distinguished class members.
