Welcome to the Prairie View A&M University College of Business!
I am deeply honored to serve as the Interim Dean of the College of Business, the illustrious college officially formed in 1976. It is my privilege to move forward with our rich history as we work together to pursue both faculty and student success.
As you learn more about Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU), I am sure you will find that it is a very special place with a fruitful culture that serves as a model for student success. I encourage you to review the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree that we offer in five major areas as well as our more than 10 minor areas of study. We are proud to offer a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Executive MBA (EMBA), Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA). I also encourage you to learn more about our PVAMU Small Business Development Center, Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Center for International Business Education, and our Energy Trade Program.
Our vision is to continue to be a premier business program known for our excellence in teaching, research and service. We are proud of our university’s Carnegie R2 classification (we are one of 11 HBCU’s with this designation) and our college’s AACSB accredited (the gold standard for business schools) programs where we are focused on continuing to develop leaders as we pursue our mission to transform students from diverse backgrounds into successful business professionals that are competitive within the global marketplace.
