Advisement and Registration Help
Professional advisement is a critical part of the educational experience; therefore, the more you communicate with your advisor, the more you will benefit from their expertise and receive personalized assistance. The College of Business is committed to students’ success by helping them achieve their professional, career, personal and academic goals.
Finding your Advisor
Students can view their degree plan and their advisor’s contact information by logging in to Degree Works and reviewing their academic records. Students can also contact their Professional Academic Advisor and other members of their PV Cares Team by appointment and online.

MGMT 2000 Exemption Information
Experienced non-traditional students and veterans may be eligible for exemption from MGMT 2000 – Professional Development for Business by experience or previous coursework. View the MGMT 2000 Exemption Criteria here. All documents must be received, reviewed and approved at least 30 semester credit hours (SCH) prior to graduation by the posted deadline for the spring and fall semesters. Exemptions for MGMT 4000 – Professional Development for Business II are no longer being accepted.
Registration for Internship Courses
Undergraduate students seeking to enroll in one of the approved internship courses for credit should review the criteria, and submit all required information before the deadline here before the registration deadline.
Transfer Credits
Currently enrolled PVAMU students who plan to take courses at a different institution and transfer them back to PVAMU should inform their advisor and request approval before enrolling in classes.
