Business majors are encouraged to participate in clubs and honor societies. These organizations provide opportunities for students to develop skills needed in business, such as teamwork, planning, organizing, leadership and communication. Several organizations are open to business majors and supported by the College of Business. Membership criteria vary.
American Marketing Association (AMA), the international society for marketing professionals, is one of the largest professional associations for marketers. Members participate in regional, national and local marketing activities.
