Ashley Aborisade is a business communication professional and a Program Specialist in the Food Security Research Center (FSRC). She is a resident of Prairie View, a Texas Master Gardener, and formerly part of the Texas A&M – Harris County Family and Consumer Science Advisory Committee and the TAMU – Texarkana Women in Leadership Advisory Board.
She is born in Liberia, West Africa and raised in Oklahoma City where her love for urban gardening began. Apart from being active in her children’s schools and extracurricular activities, she enjoys gardening, serving with her local church and producing her personal finance podcast, “#Ashtags.”
