Summer JumpStart Program is a free summer outreach program to help teenagers explore careers in agricultural and nutrition related sciences. This program is a two-week residential summer enrichment program targeting current 9th – 12th-grade students from across the United States interested in the agricultural, nutrition, and related sciences. Students will engage in hands-on lab experiences, workshops, field trips, and food demonstrations that raise awareness of career opportunities and academic programs affiliated with agriculture, nutrition, and related sciences.
The program is free of charge to participants, and will be held June 8 – 20, 2025 on the campus of Prairie View A&M University. The deadline to apply is March 15, 2025 (by midnight, Eastern Standard Time).
