PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas (December 6, 2024) — Clarence Bunch, Ph.D., program manager for the College of Food and Natural Resources at Prairie View A&M University’s Cooperative Agricultural Research Center (CARC), has secured a $125,000 grant from the U.S. Endowment for Forestry and Communities, Inc.
Through the Sustainable Forestry and African American Land Retention (SFLR) program, Dr. Bunch will help farmers and ranchers manage their forestland sustainably while preserving family ownership. By collaborating with experts, he aims to equip landowners with the tools needed to optimize the economic benefits of timber and forest resources.
