The office of Housing & Student Experience is a resource and support service for students; our office serves as the primary contact and liaison with community apartment owners and managers, business leaders, and community officials regarding students living off-campus.

Student Counseling Services is a mental health service offered through the Division of Student Affairs which provides support to currently enrolled students in life areas that may impact the successful completion of their educational goals. Services include individual counseling, couples and marital counseling, academic skills counseling, crisis intervention, outreach and referral services with virtual or face-to-face access.

Fraternity and Sorority Life
Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) at PVAMU is dedicated to the development of it’s student body through close collaborations of the FSL community, alumni, international and national organizations, and the PVAMU community. We provide academic, personal, social, and service opportunities that will empower our students to serve, lead, and operate with integrity. Self-governance and value-based decision-making serve as the hallmarks of our organizations while promoting active citizenship to make meaningful contributions to PVAMU and the local community.

Rec Sports
Rec Sports
PVAMU Campus Recreation provides wellness, leisure pursuits and student engagement opportunities through programs, activities and employment opportunities. We have three primary facilities that host our programs which include the student recreation center, the turf field complex and the bowling center.

Student Conduct supports the University’s mission through the provision of services that preserve civility in student interactions and throughout the campus community by promoting personal responsibility conducive to a positive living and learning environment through the management and enforcement of the PVAMU Code of Student Conduct. In addition, the Office provides official university excuses and background/disciplinary clearances for the University.

Student Engagement serves as a resource for all students while providing programming and services to support student organizations and advisors. The Office of Student Engagement provides opportunities to join student organizations, engage in leadership development, training, organizational and community engagement, and campus traditions are open to all.
