The Pillars of Excellence for Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) guides all member organizations towards outstanding levels of member and organizational achievement while serving Prairie View A&M University. The 5 Pillars encourage chapters to implement practices that build a strong FSL community in support of the mission of PVAMU. Every year, members and chapters are recognized for outstanding achievement through the Pillars of Excellence program.

5 PILLARS AWARD
Each year, Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) acknowledges chapters that have exceeded the call of duty in each of the 5 Pillars of Excellence. Chapters may submit packets for review by a committee of University student and staff administrators. The committee will review the total body of work produced and contributed by the chapter and provide an official ranking. Certificates will be grated to one (1) NPHC Fraternity, (1) NPHC Sorority, and (2) IGC chapters.
