Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) at PVAMU is dedicated to the development of its student body through close collaborations of the FSL community, alumni, international and national organizations, and the PVAMU community. We provide academic, personal, social, and service opportunities that will empower our students to serve, lead, and operate with integrity. Self-governance and value-based decision-making serve as the hallmarks of our organizations while promoting active citizenship to make meaningful contributions to PVAMU and the local community.
FSL at PVAMU strives to create a unified campus by ensuring a safe and productive environment for students to develop interpersonal skills, strong fraternal values, and a community mindset of respect and service while supporting the mission of PVAMU.

The Pillars of Excellence for Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) guides all member organizations towards outstanding levels of member and organizational achievement while serving Prairie View A&M University. The 5 Pillars encourage chapters to implement practices that build a community in support of the mission of PVAMU. Every year, members and chapters are recognized for outstanding achievement through the Pillars of Excellence program.
