Mission Statement for the Division of Residential Life
The mission of the University College Division of Student Life is to provide an on-campus living and learning community that supports the intellectual, social and ethical growth of all entering Prairie View A&M University students with an emphasis on freshmen. The Student Life unit is committed to providing a co-curricular environment, which allows students to pursue special interests, fulfill individual needs, and actively contribute to the living and learning community life while focusing on academics.

We are excited to inform you about the housing process for fall and summer 2018. You now have the opportunity to secure your housing for the summer and fall 2018 – 2019 academic year.
Lease today by following the steps below:
Step 1 - Click Apply Today Link below. Complete the online application and pay your $150 security deposit. You will receive an acknowledgement email with instructions to pay a non-refundable $400 prepayment rental fee. Financial Aid CANNOT be used as your prepayment. No other payment will need to be submitted prior to move in. If you do NOT receive an acknowledgement email this means your application did not go through, please contact our office at www.universitycollege-pv.com
Step 2 - Pay $400 Rental Prepayment for academic year lease. Once your payment is received you will receive your renewal lease via email to the email address on file.
Step 3 - Sign Lease Agreement. Your lease agreement will be sent to you via email. Each Resident and Guarantor must sign the electronic lease. The electronic lease will be sent via email to the resident email address and the guarantor email address. Once the signed lease is received you will receive a confirmation email.
Step 4 – Complete Resident Profile for roommate selection via Please Don’t Snore. You will receive an email with instructions and link to complete your resident profile on June 1, 2018.
*Starting fall 2018 all on campus housing charges will be applied to your university account. Payments will be made based on the university’s payment schedule. Each student will see a fall & spring housing installment per semester fee bill.
